WHICH TYPE OF DENTURE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

The type of denture you select will depend on your cosmetic preferences, oral health, budget, and the number of teeth you are missing. Our team will take as much time as needed to explain your options and help you make an informed decision.

It is important to understand that although implant-supported dentures are more expensive than traditional dentures, they can be a much better investment in the long run. They will never shift out of place as you speak or eat, and dental implants are the only solution that can prevent the bone atrophy that follows tooth loss. While traditional dentures often require refinement as the jaw changes shape, implant-supported dentures rarely require any refinement. With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. During an in-depth consultation, you and your dentist can discuss your goals and budget to determine which denture option is best for you.

Completely Personalized Care

We carefully customize each denture we provide in order to help patients experience the best possible functionality, comfort, and aesthetics. When planning your dentures, your dentist will take careful impressions of your gums and any surrounding teeth. He will also take pictures of your teeth, sending both the images and the impressions to our lab. Our technicians use top-quality restorative materials. Using premium materials and great attention to detail, lab technicians can craft a restoration that is identical to your natural teeth, and looks completely natural.

Repair the Strength and Appearance of a Damaged Smile with Restorative Dentistry

Dental Implants

At Bestdent Dental Clinic, we partner with skilled oral surgeons to help our patients enjoy the unparalleled benefits of dental implants. Implants are small metal posts placed in the jaw to serve as artificial tooth roots. Once the posts have fused with the surrounding bone, we can provide a beautiful implant-supported crown, bridge, or denture made of zirconia or IPS e.max® ceramic to restore the strength and appearance of your smile.

Composite Veneers

Composite veneers can instantly improve the appearance of your smile. During this brief procedure, we will coat your teeth with a composite resin to fill in chips and cracks and conceal cosmetic blemishes. Next, the surface of treated teeth will be smoothed to achieve a natural look, and the material will be hardened with a special light.

Inlays and Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are ideal for cases where a dental filling will not adequately restore a tooth and a dental crown would be unnecessary. Inlays only cover the biting surface of a tooth, while onlays extend beyond the pointed cusps and down the sides of a tooth. Your inlay or onlay will be custom-crafted to blend with the shape and color of your tooth as discreetly as possible.

Full Mouth Reconstruction

If you have extensive dental damage or a large number of missing teeth, full mouth reconstruction can help you achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. Full mouth reconstruction refers to a personalized set of procedures based on the unique needs of an individual patient. By developing a comprehensive treatment plan with the end result in mind, we can achieve dramatic results while minimizing recovery times and costs.

Dentures

Whether you are missing several teeth or an entire dental arch, a custom-designed denture can restore the look and function of your smile. At Bestdent Dental Clinic, we offer both cast-metal and flexible types of dentures to meet your needs. With proper care, your denture can last for more than a decade. We can help you choose the right type of denture based on your unique needs and budget.

EXPERİENCE EXCEPTİONAL DENTAL CARE İN A COMFORTABLE ENVİRONENT

Periodontal Care

When left untreated, periodontal (gum) disease can lead to tooth loss, gum recession, and other oral health concerns. If our dental team spots signs of gum disease, we can perform a scaling and root planing procedure to eliminate pockets of bacteria and improve your periodontal health. In more severe cases, we can also perform minor gum surgery.

Geriatric Care

At Bestdent Dental Clinic, we are especially skilled at treating geriatric patients and recognize the connection between a senior's oral health and overall wellbeing. When providing geriatric care, we offer several sedation options to keep seniors comfortable during treatment, and we can also coordinate with their caregivers.

Root Canal Therapy

In cases where decay advances to the inner pulp of a tooth, we can use root canal therapy to treat infection and prevent the need for extraction. During a root canal procedure, your doctor will remove infected tissue and fill in the resulting space with a rubber-like substance. Lastly, we will place a dental crown over the treated tooth to restore its strength.

Mouth Guards

To protect your smile during contact sports, we offer custom mouth guards, which are typically more comfortable and offer better protection than generic store-bought devices. Additionally, we can also provide custom oral splints to help patients suffering from temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder find relief from painful symptoms.

Orthodontics

If you are seeking a smile with beautifully straight teeth, we offer ClearCorrect™to achieve your goals. ClearCorrect™is a discreet orthodontic treatment that uses clear plastic trays to gently realign teeth. These trays are not only virtually invisible to others, they are also removable, so you can continue to enjoy all of your favorite foods.

Extractions

We will always attempt to save a damaged tooth whenever possible. However, when a tooth is severely infected, extraction may be the best way to preserve your oral health. In other cases, extraction is performed to prevent wisdom teeth from becoming impacted. When performing an extraction at Bestdent Dental Clinic, we use sedation techniques to ensure a comfortable experience.

Dental Examinations

Routine dental examinations are essential to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums. During an exam, we will thoroughly inspect your teeth and soft tissues. Your doctor will also perform an oral cancer screening and use digital and panoramic x-rays to spot early signs of decay, bone recession, and other concerns.

Emergency Dentistry

Our experienced and compassionate doctors understand that dental emergencies can be alarming, which is why we are here for our patients when they need us most. If you have a dental emergency, such as a knocked out tooth or severe toothache, our dental team will see you within 24 hours.

Sedation

Many patients are nervous at the thought of visiting the dentist, whether because of sensitive teeth or prior bad experiences. But avoiding the dentist makes catching problems that much harder and can severely undermine your oral health. To help ease your anxiety, we provide nitrous oxide and oral sedation options at the office.

Periodontal Care for All Stages of Gum Disease

Gum disease is a serious condition that can lead to significant discomfort, bleeding, and tooth loss.

Through our routine treatment, we can help you prevent gum disease from ever developing.

The Stages of Periodontal Disease

In the early stages of gum disease, microbes gather along your gum line, causing mild inflammation. This phase of gum disease is known as gingivitis, and it is reversible. If you do not seek treatment, however, the bacteria will spread farther into your gums. This can create pockets that eventually cause the gums to pull away from your jawbone and tooth roots. This stage is known as periodontitis, and although it cannot be cured, it can be controlled with proper care.

Symptoms of Gum Disease

If you notice gum irritation, redness, or increased dental sensitivity, you should schedule a dental appointment as soon as possible. Other symptoms of periodontitis include:

  • Significant discomfort
  • Inflamed gums
  • Moderate to severe bleeding
  • Loose teeth
  • Gum recession
  • Bad breath

Oftentimes, patients do not experience any symptoms. For this reason, it is important that they see their dentist for regular dental exams.

Root Canal Treatment Can Save Your Tooth

When decay advances to the inner tissue of a tooth, or when trauma exposes this tissue, a simple filling procedure is not enough to restore dental health. A root canal is a more extensive treatment that can save and restore teeth affected by advanced decay or trauma. We use modern techniques to make this procedure gentle and comfortable. It provides substantial relief, and can eliminate the need for extraction.

What to Expect during Root Canal Therapy

During a root canal, your dentist will numb your tooth and gums. Next, he will create a tiny opening in the top of your tooth. Through this access point, he will completely remove the pulp (nerves and blood vessels) from within your tooth and root canals (the narrow chambers at the center of your tooth roots). Next, the dentist will thoroughly disinfect these areas before filling the tooth and root canals with a rubber-like substance, and sealing the entry point.

To complete the procedure, your dentist will place a crown onto the treated tooth. To create the crown, your dentist will first take impressions of your tooth, which will be sent to our partner lab. The ceramists will use these impressions to design and create a crown that will blend with your smile. It will usually take at least two weeks to receive your crown, but we can provide a temporary restoration while you wait. When your crown is attached, you can enjoy a beautifully restored smile.

Root Canal Candidates

In some cases, advanced tooth decay presents no symptoms. However, in most instances, infected teeth result in symptoms including:

  • Toothache
  • Sensitivity to heat or cold
  • Facial pain
  • Swelling
  • Internal discoloration
  • Chronic bad breath
  • Gum abscesses

Why Is Root Canal Treatment So Important?

In some cases, root canal therapy is the only viable alternative to extraction. Whenever possible, our dentists will try to save your tooth. We offer a number of advanced restorations, but we prefer to help patients retain biological tissue. However, if extraction is necessary, we can replace the tooth with dental implants and restorations that can restore function and aesthetics while halting the bone atrophy that occurs in the absence of tooth roots.

If you are experiencing symptoms of advanced decay, or if you have suffered dental trauma, it is important to seek treatment as soon as possible. Bacteria multiply very quickly, and they can easily destroy your tooth and surrounding tissue. With our timely, gentle care, we can relieve your toothache and help you maintain oral health.
